Graphic Labels - These are labels that's sole purpose is
product identification and graphic appeal. These labels can be 1
color, multi-color line art or process with spot colors. They can be
printed on a wide variety of materials. These labels can be over
laminated, varnished or reverse printed. They will be used on a
product with a short life like a bottle of watter or on a durable good
such as a tape measure or a belt sander.
Functional Labels - Though in many cases these labels have
graphic appeal, they serve some higher purpose such a
temperature or an electrical sensor.
Security Tags and Labels - These products are designed to
prove product authenticity and that a product or information has
